Known as one of the most sought after and emerging tenors of Chinese young singers, Chinese tenor Yongxi Chen, 26 years old. He graduated from Wuhan Conservatory of Music with a master's degree in vocal music. During the school, where he was seen as Alfredo in the opera La Traviata in the second opera festival in China. recently made his debut as Rodolfo in La bohème Qintai Theatre in Wuhan, China., toured in major theaters and concert halls in China. In 2017, He won the first prize at the 2015 "Terasa Belloc” International Vocal Competition in Italy.

In 2017 he won the 51st Netherlands`s Hertogenbosch International Vocal Competition prize of the Province of North Brabant, second in the opera division. The Netherlands`s newspaper interviewed that "it is an incredible tenor and an Italian-style classical aria" . In 2018, he won the prize of the Italian Verdi Voice International Vocal Competition. In 2018, he was admitted to the Maryland lyric Opera Young Singer Training Program in Washington, DC, and became a contract singer. In 2019, he will be invited to the training program for young singers of the Royal Opera House in Parma, Italy and Rodolf in the opera "Luisa miller".
